Hi Guys 🙂
Spring is very nearly here YIPPEEEEEE! and I am so happy to see the signs of buds and blooms on my Cacti and Succulents and to see new growth on the plants, Spring is always my favourite time of year 🙂
I am so happy to see my Graptopetalum paraguayense succulent plant flowering for me for the VERY first time and with the most BEAUTIFUL star shaped of little blooms.
The remarkable thing about these flowers is that the first one that opened up had 3 red spots on the ends of each of the individual petals and over the days red spots appeared on all of the petals 🙂 a new flower opened up yesterday with no red spots on the petals and I will be carefully watching to see if the petals change over the next few days to see and red spots that form on the petals 🙂
Although Graptopetalum paraguayense plants look very similar in appearance to Echeveria’s they are not the same plant but they are related as they are part of the Crassulaceae family.
Here is a video that I have made for my You Tube channel Desert Plants of Avalon of this beautiful plant flowering and you can watch this video below :
Sending you all lots of LOVE and heaps of FLOWER POWER from right across the Emerald Isle for a SUNNY FILLED BLOOMING time ahead 🙂
